Checking the status of an Electronic Signature

To check on the status of the document that is out for electronic signature you can can the DocumentSendForSignatureStatus method passing the document object to check the status of.

The result from this call returns an SCMQueueStatus enumeration with the following possible values:

  • Failure – This will be the status when the document fails for a system reason or the signature request is canceled
  • Waiting – The document is out for signature, waiting for a signer
  • Processing  – The document is being processed by the system
  • Success – The document has been successfully signed by all signers.
